C is for Cookie...

...that's good enough for me!

My husband makes cookies every year for the people that work for him.   Then he puts together extra platters for our good friends and holiday get-togethers.   I wish I had taken a picture of the assembly line of cute boxes on the kitchen table today.  Oh well!

Yesterday he made "puppy chow" and Chex Mix for just the family...

He's so much more fun than I am!  Here's my motto...

Can I just say that all looks spec-freakin-tacular! I wanna grab it and make myself sick on it right now.

+ your title brought back childhood memories that left me rolling around laughing and singing the song over and over again. My husband still doesn't know what's going on!

Can I borrow your husband??
I have an assembly line going tomorrow but somehow, I know most of the cookies won't make it out the door = P

I don't bake, just my boys. I will do my annual messing up the baked goods tomorrow so our friends could be thankful they bake.

Now that is sweet! In more ways than one. I remember the time I had the flu and was a stickler for keeping to a weekly menu. When he looked at what that day's supper was and saw "Stir Fry", the look on his face was priceless. I let him off the hook and said grilled cheese is fine.

Can I trade you some of that yummy stuff for what my husband brought home: hundreds of individual packets of marmalade jam. I even blogged about it yesterday at http://ironicmom.com.

Started making my christmas candy this weekend. But my stash doesn't look anything like ya'lls. I guess I need to get busy, I need a sunny day to make divinity or just going to have to settle for puppy chow.

I have yet to start baking Christmas cookies! I have all the ingredients, just haven't taken the time. =)

A husband that bakes. . . oh you are so lucky. Does he clean up too??? My husband's idea of helping in the kitchen is tasting. I really need to practice your motto. . . Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Merry Christmas.

Blessings,
Elizabeth
