Nothing like a good book

"Children are made readers
on the laps of their parents."

This is a picture from 1993 and Meredith was pretending to read Sara a story, which always cracked me up.  For more Friday Photo Flashback fun, visit Alicia at More Than Words and HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Absolutely adorable! '93 wasn't that long ago so does that mean in a few years my children will be the same age as yours?? Can someone please slow time down?!

Aw, that's so sweet. Obviously, Meredith had already learned a love of reading from her parents, and she was generously sharing that with little Sara.

I wish I had a picture of my oldest reading to his little brother. The favorite book was "A Day on the Farm." He would "read" the title and then the title page LOL!!! He had the whole thing memorized before he was 2. He still loves to read and so does the little brother :-)
