Easters past

Whenever I get the chance, I love to join Alicia at More Than Words for her Friday Photo Flashback.  It gets me in gear to get the old photos out and it's fun seeing what others post.  They're pictures from our pre-digital camera days.

There's a theme going with all these Easter pictures - and believe it or not, we actually do have eyes it turns out.  I do remember always having to face the sun when we stood outside but WOW!  These just crack me up - especially the first one.  I was the sixth one so I hadn't gotten here yet and learned the squinting technique perfected by the other five.

Now I finally get to join the squinting fun...
I remember my mom telling me the story about the babysitter cutting my hair while my mom was at work one day but I can't remember why.  That could explain why I never had short hair after that.  I hope you're enjoying the spring and that you've got nice weather where you are.  Now break out those cameras and turn away from the light!  ☼

hahaha that is great. I always wondered why you could never see peoples eyes in so many older photos, now i know why! No flash so you had to face the sun, what a horrible experience. That first photo is priceless though!

That is so laughable - You'd think maybe mom might have noticed and found a different spot to take the picture - Ha Ha. Ya'll are still so cute (yes I am southern today!).

LOL!!! You could have substituted any one of those brothers and inserted my husband and done the same with your sister for me! We were always looking into the sun and squinting for our Easter pics. Did we grow up in the same neighborhood? HAHAHA!!!! My husband burst out laughing when he saw the first one and said it looked familiar :-)
