Anyway, it's late enough now that most of the dogwoods are finished blooming but little by little other things are making their debut and you can just feel the "spring" in everyone's step.
Our old neighbors started this garden years ago and every year in the springtime, it just pops right up little by little. This is only the beginning. When the weather is nicer, they keep their turtle in there.
Our little Bradford pear tree is trying to keep up with all the flowering trees...
Our backyard neighbor's Redbud tree greets us every day...
My tulips are budding...
Finches are everywhere and I'm forever refilling the feeder...
Three at once on this one!
Robins are ALL over the place and teasing my dogs all day long...
And these are my favorite shots...when I drove through a wooded park, I saw random little spots of flowers that looked so bright next to the mostly bare trees...
It's still early in the month so I'm excited to see everything come into full bloom. This year, my son's birthday will fall on Easter and that hasn't happened before for him, and the following week is the big royal wedding! If you're still having cold, icky weather, I hope spring will peek its head out soon ~ you know it's worth the wait! Have a wonderful week.

Spring has sprung in your yard. The robin and goldfinches seem to be enjoying it.
Lovely! Thanks for highlighting how wonderful it really is in the spring! And I bet that little turtle loves his happy little home. :)
We have daffodils and crocuses around here...not much else yet.
Love, the beauty of spring! John has been telling me how everything is so pretty down there right now. Thanks for sharing it in pictures. :-)
That's how it is at our house too - The saying in Idaho is "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes!". It changes fast.
Spring is sprunging for sure at your house - Awesome!
Hope you are doing good!
We've had that kind of weather too. We had howling gales with torrential rain on Tuesday and today it was about 70F. I think you guys in the US are more excited about the Royal Wedding than we are here. The only thing that pleases me is that I get an extra day of vacation and I don't even have to take it on the wedding day!
I'm patiently waiting ... thanks for the reminder of what I'm waiting for!
Lovely photos! I have been enjoying watching the robins over here as well. We've been having so much rain over this way...I'm ready for some warm sunshine!
We had 70's yesterday, but there is still some snow in the woods and in places that are hidden from the direct sun. But spring is coming!
