This is just a little note to myself about blogging, or rather my blog in particular. I get upset when there's no time to blog, no time to edit pictures, no time to visit and comment, and I have to remember this is all for FUN. The girl that designed my blog is out of town and I want to change things around - new background, new fonts, etc. However, I feel like I want her here as a safety net in case all is lost. I have a few days off though, and am going to play around and maybe come up with something new and maybe not. We'll see. I hope everyone is having a nice summer! ☼

It is supposed to be just fun!! But I totally understand the need to overhaul the blog (it is a sickness with me if you haven't noticed!).

I feel the same way..as a matter of fact, I'm so far behind in reading and commenting on blogs, I'm making myself stay up late tonight so I can!
I'm constantly trying to find a new way to design my blog. But I always go back to the way it is now!

Boy, do I ever have days like that too! I know just what you mean! My blogging life has a way of bleeding into my real life and I have to reign the monster back in!
Do you have a "testblog"? That has helped me so much. I set up a whole other blog called StoneGable Testblog- it is not open to the public. And if I do anything new I do it on the testblog first. I just learned how to make drop box blog buttons. Thank goodness I had my testblog. It was a mess for awhile. When I got it right, I just copied and put it on StoneGable.

Sometimes it is hard to keep up with life and blogging, too. It's good to be busy, though.
May I borrow your NO WHINING sign? Really ... I need it. My blog has been silent since April 25th when it was raining cats and dogs. It's now June 22nd and... raining cats and dogs. Why or why do I try to blog when it rains?

@Yvonne - That's a GREAT idea!! I need to set up a test blog. The design I have now looks fine to me but I notice it loads more slowly and pops up black first before it goes to the design. I need to do the practice thing - THANKS!
@Peggy - You just help your little ol' self to that no whining sign. I just found it in some clip art somewhere so it's not like I invented it, although if you want to send me any royalties for it's usage, I like large bills. :D
